Individuals interested in facilitating STAO ScienceWorks Workshops are invited to email their area of teaching expertise and facilitation experience to malisa_mezenberg@stao.org. STAO is currently looking for individuals with experience in teaching the Grade 9 Astronomy Unit and Grade 10 Weather and Motion units.

Interactive Database: Do you have ideas to share with colleagues across the province? STAO has received funding to build an interactive data base that will contain a variety of teacher resource and student classroom materials to support delivery of grades 9 through 12 science curriculum. A team is being formed to collect and review exemplary materials that form the databank of ideas! If you have ideas or websites to share and would like to make some cash this summer, email malisa_mezenberg@stao.org for information about this project.

ScienceWorks Facilitators Needed:
ScienceWorks is a series professional development workshops created by STAO.

These hands-on workshops are linked to the grade 7 through 12 Science Curriculum. ScienceWorks workshops are presented at STAO's annual conference as well as at regional mixers and Board PD programs throughout the year.

Presenters with expertise and experience with the grade 10 Weather unit, grade 11 Workplace and grade 11 College Biology course are most needed.
